Technisch Productiemedewerker Plot & Print 

Bij Airworks creëren we opblaasbare decorstukken voor live entertainment, festivals en evenementen over de hele wereld. 

Voor ons Studioteam in Weesp zoeken wij een Technisch Productiemedewerker Plot & Print. In deze rol zorg je ervoor dat digitale ontwerpen worden omgezet naar productieklare patronen, prints en labels. 

Je werkt met gespecialiseerde plot- en printmachines, bereidt productiebestanden voor en zorgt dat materialen klaar zijn voor productie. Een afwisselende functie waarin techniek, digitalisering en praktisch productiewerk samenkomen. 

Wat breng je mee? 

• Ervaring in een productie-, print-, en/ of technische omgeving 

• Ervaring met software zoals CorelDRAW, Photoshop of vergelijkbare programma's is een pré 

• Technisch inzicht en interesse in productieprocessen 

• Oog voor detail en kwaliteit 

• Een praktische, hands-on instelling 

• Goede communicatieve vaardigheden 

• Je werkt zowel zelfstandig als goed samen in een team 

Wat maakt deze functie bijzonder? 

Geen dag is hetzelfde. De ene week werk je aan patronen voor een gigantische inflatable voor een internationale concerttour, de volgende week produceer je prints voor een theaterproductie of grootschalig evenement.

Digital Fabrication Technician

At Airworks, we create some of the world's most extraordinary inflatable structures for live entertainment, events and immersive experiences.

We're looking for a hands-on Digital Fabrication Technician to join our Studio team in Weesp. In this role, you'll transform digital designs into production-ready patterns, prints and labels, helping our production teams bring spectacular custom-made inflatables to life.

You'll work with specialised printing and plotting equipment, prepare production files, and ensure materials are ready for fabrication. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys combining technical skills, digital tools and practical production work while working in a fast paced team environment.

What you'll do

• Prepare and manage digital plot and print files

• Operate large-format plotting and printing equipment

• Produce patterns, labels and production materials

• Perform quality checks and maintain production records

• Maintain, calibrate and troubleshoot equipment

• Manage stock levels of fabrics, inks and workshop supplies

• Support fabrication and finishing activities when required

Wat ga je doen? 

• Voorbereiden en beheren van digitale plot- en printbestanden 

• Bedienen van grootformaat printers en plotters 

• Produceren van patronen, labels en andere productiematerialen 

• Uitvoeren van kwaliteitscontroles en registreren van productiegegevens 

• Onderhouden, kalibreren en oplossen van kleine storingen aan machines 

• Beheren van voorraden zoals stoffen, inkten en werkplaatsmaterialen 

• Ondersteunen bij productie- en afwerkingswerkzaamheden wanneer nodig

What we're looking for

• Experience in digital production, fabrication, print production or a technical workshop environment

• Familiarity with software such as CorelDRAW, Photoshop or similar design tools

• A technical mindset and interest in production processes

• Strong attention to detail and quality

• A proactive, hands-on attitude

• Strong communication skills

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Not required but preferred:

• Driver’s license B

• Forklift diploma
