Ben jij klaar om een rol te spelen in het Airworks-proces en bij te dragen aan indrukwekkende shows en evenementen? Wij zoeken een freelancer met een hands-on mentaliteit om ons toegewijde team van drie personen in onze studio in Weesp op projectbasis te versterken. Samen met je team werk je nauw samen  om ervoor te zorgen dat de bedrukte stoffen voldoen aan de hoogste kwaliteitsnormen van Airworks. Daarnaast zorg je ervoor dat stoffen op tijd worden geleverd aan de naaistudio en dat elk detail klopt. Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden zijn essentieel.

Jouw rol als Textile Freelancer Print & Plot
Als Textile Freelancer Print & Plot ben je verantwoordelijk voor het bedienen van onze plottafels om de nauwkeurige, efficiënte en tijdige productie te garanderen van op maat gemaakte stoffen patroonstukken voor hoogwaardige inflatables die worden gebruikt bij prestigieuze entertainment evenementen. 

Wat ga je doen:

• Wide Format Plotting: Bedient en onderhoud wide format plotmachines om nauwkeurige en hoogwaardige patroonstukken te produceren.
• Kwaliteitscontrole: en sorteren van gesneden stoffen om productienormen te garanderen.
• Monitort en documenteert de plotvoortgang van de projecten.
• Samenwerking: Werk nauw samen met het team.
• Onderhoud: Voer routinematig onderhoud, reiniging en kalibratie uit op plotmachines en software om een ​​soepele werking te garanderen.
• Voorraadbeheer: Houd de stof- en printbenodigdheden bij.
• Deadlinebeheer: Werk efficiënt onder strakke deadlines en beheer druk om op tijd hoogwaardige resultaten te leveren.
• Helpt bij het handmatig snijden/sorteren van bedrukte stoffen.
• Zorgt ervoor dat de plotruimte aan het einde van elke dag wordt opgeruimd en schoon is.

Job Opening Textile Freelancer Print & Plot:

Are you ready to play a role in the plot and print process at Airworks, contributing to stunning shows and events? We’re looking for a  hands-on, project based Textile Freelancer Print & Plot to join our small, dedicated team of three in our studio in Weesp. Together with the team you collaborate to make sure the printed fabrics meet Airworks’ highest quality standards. You also ensure that fabrics are delivered to the sewing studio on time and that every detail is just right. Excellent communication skills are key.

Your Role as
Textile Freelancer Print & Plot:

The Textile Freelancer Print & Plot is responsible for operating our plotting tables to ensure the accurate, efficient and timely production of bespoke fabric pattern pieces for high-end inflatable products used in prestigious entertainment events. This role involves handling fabric materials, performing colour controle, and operating wide format plotting and printing machines. 

Your activities include:

• Wide Format Plotting: Operate and maintain wide format plotting machines to produce accurate and high-quality pattern pieces.
• Quality Control: and sorting of cut fabric pieces ensuring production standards.
• Monitors and documents the plotting progress of the projects.
  
• Collaboration: Work closely with the team.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance,  cleaning and calibration on plotting machines and software to ensure smooth operation.
• Inventory Management: Keep track of fabric and printing supplies.
• Deadline Management: Work efficiently under tight deadlines and manage pressure to deliver high-quality results on time.
• Assists with manual cutting/sorting of printed fabrics.
• Ensures the plot space is cleared and clean at the end of every day.

Wat breng je mee?

• MBO-werk- en denkniveau.
• Vaardigheid in het oplossen van problemen met digitale bestanden, printprocessen en plotmachines.
• Kennis van Excel.
• Nederlands en/of Engels sprekend.
• Woonachtig in Nederland is een vereiste.

Pre’s (geen vereiste, wel een pluspunt):

• Rijbewijs B
• Heftruckcertificaat

Education and experience requirements:

• Intermediate vocational education (MBO) thinking and working level
• Ability to troubleshoot issues with digital files, printing processes, and plotting machines.
• Knowledge of Excel
• Dutch and/or English speaking
• Residing in the Netherlands is required

Not required but preferred: 

• Driver’s license B
• Forklift diploma
